ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Cheap Trick vocalist Robin Taylor Zander will be performing this summer at Prairie Street Brewhouse.
The free concert will be held July 12th at 8 p.m. at Prairie Street’s Dock Stage.
Zander will be joined by Adam Krier of Lucky Boys Confusion and AM Taxi on keyboard/guitar, Adam Arling of The Last Vegas and Black Angus on bass, and Frank Ferrer of Guns n’ Roses and The Psychedelic Furs on drums.
“Whether you’re chilling on a boat slip, savoring a delicious dinner, or simply enjoying the free general admission, this is an evening you won’t want to miss,” Prairie Street Brewing Company said in an announcement.
Cheap Trick was formed in Rockford in 1973 by Zander, guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, and drummer Bun E. Carlos. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, and the Illinois Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
WTVO-TV is a co-sponsor of the event.
