Thousands flock to see the Colorado monolith this weekend, causing possible removal – 98.5 KYGO

What do they do with those mystery monoliths that keep popping up around the world when they have to be removed? I guess we just may find out in Colorado soon…

The mysterious monolith that randomly appeared in a field in Bellvue, Colorado, near Fort Collins a couple of weeks ago is causing so much curiosity that it may have to be removed.

“We had easily 800 people yesterday,” Lori Graves who owns Morning Fresh Dairy Farm, where the monolith is located, said Monday to the Denver Post, “and yesterday wasn’t as busy as the day before.”

Graves previously told The Denver Post she didn’t intend to remove the structure, which stands about 9 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 8 inches deep. But she’s now reconsidering after hordes of visitors have caused congestion on the road where the dairy resides, trespassed on her land and in some cases damaged the natural environment.

May I suggest she just starts charging to get in and see it? I’m half tempted to plant one in my yard and charge people to come see it. HA!
